Docus is a PDF scanner and document signing app for iOS. Its features include document scanning via camera, importing PDFs and images from the photo library or Files, editing documents, combining multiple PDFs, exporting PDF files, and adding signatures, initials, and stamps.

This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use the app.

Documents and User Content

Docus is designed to keep your documents and user-created content on your device.

The following data is stored locally on your device:

  • Scanned and imported documents
  • Edited documents
  • Saved signatures
  • Saved initials
  • Saved stamps

Your documents, scans, signatures, initials, and stamps are not sent to Snadkin Tech servers.

We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your documents or document content.

Information We Do Not Collect Directly

Snadkin Tech does not directly collect your:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Contacts
  • Precise location
  • Document content
  • Scanned files
  • Imported files
  • Signatures, initials, or stamps

Camera, Photo Library, and Files Access

Docus may request access to your camera, photo library, and Files only to provide app features.

Camera access is used to scan documents when you actively start scanning.

Photo library access is used when you choose to import images or documents from your gallery.

Files access is used when you choose to import documents from the Files app.

The app does not access these sources unless you initiate the related action.

Local Data Storage

Documents and user-created content are stored locally on your device.

If you delete the app, locally stored app data may also be deleted, depending on your device and iOS settings.

You are responsible for exporting, saving, or backing up important documents before deleting the app or changing devices.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Docus offers in-app purchases, subscriptions, and/or a lifetime purchase.

Purchases are handled through the Apple App Store. Snadkin Tech does not receive or store your payment card details.

Docus uses RevenueCat for subscription validation and purchase management. RevenueCat may process limited technical and purchase-related data necessary to validate purchases, manage subscriptions, restore purchases, and provide premium access.

Analytics

Docus does not use third-party analytics services.

The app does not collect analytics about your document content, scans, signatures, initials, stamps, or files.

Tracking and Advertising

Docus does not use advertising SDKs.

Docus does not track users across apps and websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes.

Docus does not sell your personal data.

Third-Party Services

Docus may use the following third-party services:

  • RevenueCat — subscription validation and purchase management
  • Apple App Store — payment processing and purchase management

These services process data according to their own privacy policies and data processing practices.

Children's Privacy

Docus is intended for a general audience.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require account registration and does not collect document content on Snadkin Tech servers.

You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple ID, and backups secure.

Since Docus does not require an account and does not store your documents on our servers, most app data can be managed directly on your device by deleting documents or deleting the app.
