Overview

Calmia is built on a simple principle: your health data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

Short version: we do not collect your personal health data. Everything stays on your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store:

  • Your migraine entries or health logs
  • Your symptoms, triggers, or medication records
  • Your location (except temporarily on-device for weather — see the Weather section below)
  • Your name or any personally identifiable information
  • Any biometric or health data

Data Stored on Your Device

All data you enter is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes:

  • Migraine episode logs
  • Symptoms and triggers
  • Medication records
  • Daily check-in history
  • Your onboarding preferences (age range, frequency, common triggers)
  • App settings and preferences

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it using the built-in export feature.

Location and Weather Data

If you grant location permission, Calmia uses your device's location solely to fetch local atmospheric pressure data via Apple WeatherKit. This happens on-device only, without transmitting your location to our servers, and in accordance with Apple's WeatherKit privacy terms.

We store daily weather snapshots (pressure, weather code) locally on your device linked to your migraine entries. Your precise location is never stored — only the resulting weather data for that day.

You can deny location permission at any time in your iPhone Settings. Weather features will be unavailable if permission is denied.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Calmia Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat solely to verify your subscription status on-device. RevenueCat may collect:

  • A random anonymous app user ID
  • Purchase transaction data (no payment details)
  • App version and platform info

We never see your payment information. Apple handles all billing directly.

Analytics and Tracking

We do not use any analytics SDKs.

We do not use advertising SDKs.

We do not track your behavior within the App.

We do not share any data with third parties for advertising purposes. Calmia contains no ads and never will.

Data Export and Deletion

You can export all your data at any time from Settings → Export Raw Data (JSON).

You can delete all your data at any time from Settings → Delete all data.

Deleting your data within the App removes it permanently from your device. We have no copy of it to delete on our end.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Apple WeatherKit — local atmospheric pressure data
  • RevenueCat — subscription status verification

No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks are used.

Children's Privacy

Calmia is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at info@snadkin.tech and we will address it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
